Cass Vineyards and Winery is located in the rolling, oak-studded hills between Paso Robles and Creston on California's beautiful Central Coast. This area that the vineyard calls home offers quiet serenity for the visitor and a perfect growing season for wine grapes.

One hundred percent of the wines crafted at Cass Winery are Estate Grown. Our vineyard surrounds our Tasting Room and winery. You can literally touch, taste, see and smell the grapes from the block where they were harvested.

The Tasting Room offers picnic fare and our chef prepares wine and food pairings daily from 12-4pm at the Cass Café to enhance the feel of this special environment. Scenic paths lead to oak-shaded picnic areas for our visitors’ complete wine country sensory experience.

A unique feature of our wine making is that all of the Rhone grapes we grow are ENTAV certified. ENTAV (Establissement National Technique pour l’Amelioration de la Viticulture) is the national agency of France responsible for the quality of wine grape varieities. Over 90% of all French Vineyards are started with ENTAV certified plants and are only recently available in California. Consequently, these are among the very first wines made from ENTAV grapes grown here.

Grey Wolf Cellars is located on Highway 46 West, 2.5 miles off of Highway 101 in beautiful Paso Robles, California. Family owned and operated, the winery facility and tasting room lie on approximately 12 acres of land overlooking rolling hills, pastures, and oak studded meadows, formerly known as Green Valley. The Barton family preserved and converted a 60 year-old farmhouse into the Grey Wolf tasting room, open daily from 11:00 - 5:30. Grey Wolf specializes in red wine varietals including the Barton Family Reserve Zinfandel, Alpha Cabernet and Meritage.

Renowned winemaker, Chris Cameron, recently joined the JanKris team. Chris is an International winemaker with a dynamic career in the wine industry that spans over 30 vintages. He has a committed and passionate approach to all aspects of winemaking. Chris’s philosophical approach to winemaking can best be described as minimalist intervention. He feels that truly great wines are inherently dependent on the vineyard and the real art of winemaking is the ability to translate what’s on the vine to bottle. Structure and balance are the most critical components of a wine and each varietal released must be an accurate reflection of the style and the region.

Chris’s interpretation of vineyards and varieties is heralding a new era for the Company.

Vines on the Marycrest is the name behind Rhone blends such as Heart of Glass, 'Round Midnight, Satin Doll and their liquid gold My Generation. New in the 2007 release are single varietal bottlings of Syrah, Petite Sirah and Zinfandel from the Remo Belli Vineyard.

In 2004 Jennifer and Victor Abascal came to Paso Robles to realize the dream of owning a vineyard and winery. The project began with tending to 50 year old Zinfandel vines planted in the 1960s by Richard Sauret and then slowly converting the 26 acre almond orchard to vineyards. Carlotta's Vineyard is a 3.5 acre field blend which will soon be blended into "Take Five." The next vines planted were Zinfandel and went into Buck's Bit to expand and increase the number of Zin vines. Now in progress is the planting of Carter's Crest a steep west facing slope planted to Grenache and Mourvedre. More vineyards are in the planning stages.
